1. Sports:
- We at RAJIV GANDHI SAMAJKARYA MAHAVIDYALAYA have understood the value of sports in the overall development of body and mind and therefore Personality and of course ourhuge playground spread in college premises. The aim is to catch these players Young and groom them into Stars of tomorrow. You can also be a part of this talent hunting venture of RAJIV GANDHI SAMAJKARYA MAHAVIDYALAYA.Sports are a crucial part of a student’s growth and development. They help in the development of mental health and physical fitness of the body. Through participation in sports and games, a student gains various skills, experience and confidence that are helpful for developing their personality.
2. Library:
- We have a library house all the major reference and text books, journals, magazines, periodicals, novels, encyclopedias on a wide variety of subjects. When you have some free time you can sit in the co0zy Reading room, adjacent to the library, and can utilize your time going through the encyclopedias, journals, magazines, newspapers, what ever interests you. There is a separate section which provides study aterials for various Competitive Exams. Book bank Facility is extended to poor and needy students. Under the scheme eligible students are given Text Books for one academic year.
3. Common Rooms:
- RAJIV GANDHI SAMAJKARYA MAHAVIDYALAYA has made special arrangements for you to take rest or have your lunch during breaks by buildings separate common rooms for boys and girls.A college common room is the student’s paradise. Here he/she is completely free. In between classes, he finds here recreation and relaxation. A common room in a college or any other educational institution is necessary for the recreation of the students in the recesses. It gives students relief from the stress and strain of continuous lessons. The students may play various indoor games, meet other students and thus may socialize here. The common room of our college is situated a bit away from the classrooms. It is near the college canteen. It is furnished with a long table for playing table tennis, small tables and chairs for playing chess and the relevant sports goods. There are some rules and regulations.
4. Parent-Teacher Meeting:
- From time to time we hold meeting with your parents too. This is not to complain against you. Wejust want your parents to be a part of our family too... So that together we can work to make things better and easier for you.A parent-teacher meeting is instrumental in bringing positive growth in the academic excellence of the students. They would be guided better after the teachers have taken proper inputs from the parents about the students and vice versa. Since it has a plethora of benefits, parents need to ensure they are attending the meetings regularly.
